What is Devon Partnership NHS Trust?
DPT provide a wide range of NHS services to people with mental health and learning disability needs – in Devon, the wider South West region and nationally. They are passionate about promoting good mental health and wellbeing. They strive to use the expertise and resources within their organisation, and through their partnerships, to deliver high quality services that are safe and focused on people’s recovery.
My role within DPT
My role within DPT is similar to my role within Devon ICB. My main duties were to ensure their Laptop or Desktop PC was functioning correctly and to solve any issues they may have had on the call.
This could involve anything from their Active Directory user account, their Smartcard software, NHS Mail account, ensuring their alcatel phone system was working, generic application or fault with their device and guiding them through requests if neccessary.
My experience with Devon Partnership Trust allowed me to gain new skills with the telephony software Alcatel and using Microsoft Intune.
My Role with CFHD
CFHD is a company run within DPT but has its own IT Department. CFHD does use a lot of DPT resources such as its Intranet. This has allowed me to develop my ability to work with external companies to ensure a resolution gets met.
